  Thanks for taking a stand against glyphosate as reported in the paper. I’m sure you I know that approved pesticides cannot be banned on private land but they can be banned on all county-owned lands and that would be a great first step. However, I would encourage you to go further and propose a new Integrated Pest Management Plan that favors mechanical and biological controls on County land and the least toxic pesticide (on the OMRI list) when necessary, so glyphosate is not replaced with a different toxic pesticide which happened with the City.
